The Lagos State Employee Wellness Centre is an outpatient mental health and social care service for employees of the Lagos State Civil Service. The centre was established to create an integrated, evidence-based, recovery-oriented service delivery model that promotes resilience and the well-being of Lagos State Government employees.
In today’s fast-paced work environment, prioritizing employee mental health is crucial not just for our overall well-being but for productivity improvement. LASWELL, an acronym for the “Lagos State Employee Wellness Center,” is a facility dedicated to catering to the mental well-being of civil servants working for the Lagos State Government.
At LagosMiND, we understand that the pressures of work, combined with personal challenges as well as the hustle and bustle of Eko, can take a toll on your mental health. We aim to provide you with the necessary tools, resources, and support to manage stress, improve your emotional resilience, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and facilitate access to healthcare facilities for chronic mental health issue management.
Through this project, we aim to foster a culture of well-being where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to take care of themselves. Remember, by prioritising mental health, we can enhance job satisfaction, improve productivity, and create a more positive and supportive work environment for everyone.
While this project focuses solely on providing support for “Employees of the Lagos state government,” we have other services that ensure your wellness is prioritized even if you are not a Lagos government employee.
