LASWELL

The Lagos State Employee Wellness Centre — outpatient mental health and social care for the State's civil servants.

LASWELL was established to create an integrated, evidence-based, recovery-oriented service that promotes the resilience and wellbeing of Lagos State Government employees.

Project overview

In a fast-paced working environment, employee mental health matters — not only for wellbeing but for the work itself. LASWELL is a facility dedicated to the mental wellbeing of civil servants working for the Lagos State Government.

We understand that the pressures of work, combined with personal challenges and the hustle of Eko, take a toll. LASWELL provides the tools, resources and support to manage stress, build emotional resilience, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and get access to healthcare facilities for managing chronic mental health conditions.

The aim is a culture of wellbeing where employees feel valued, supported and able to look after themselves. Prioritising mental health improves job satisfaction and productivity, and makes for a more supportive place to work.
