The centre was established to create an integrated, evidence-based, recovery-oriented service delivery model that promotes resilience and the wellbeing of Lagos State Government employees. The LASWELL centre was launched by the Head of Service on the 11th of August 2020 and is open to all civil servants in the State.

The LASWELL Centre is located on the First Floor of the Folarin Coker Staff Clinic at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa.

The services available at the Centre include:

  • Counselling services for all employees
  • Suicide prevention support service and initiatives
  • Initiatives that reduce stigma and discrimination
  • Protection of employees with mental illness
  • Advocacy and awareness

Employees of Lagos State can walk through the doors between 9am and 4pm, to seek information or care. Alternatively, book an appointment by calling +2347025002756 or make enquiries or appointments via email to laswellcentre@lagosstate.gov.ng

Employees can also be referred by their ministries, departments, or agencies – following an observable change in their behaviors and a subsequent reduction in productivity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner kd_background_image_position=”vc_row-bg-position-top”][vc_column_inner css=”.vc_custom_1645013132685{padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”9805″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]
