This is also in line with the Task Shifting/Task Sharing Policy of the Lagos State Ministry of Health and involves bespoke training modules which equip beneficiaries with the knowledge and skills needed to understand common mental health presentations, develop positive approaches for promoting their mental wellbeing and that of other community members.

The diverse target groups include:

  • First Responders
  • Teachers
  • Community Associations
  • Religious Groups
  • Corporate Organizations etc.

The goal is to raise Mental Health Champions that can provide first-level support for community members, share accurate knowledge that can dispel stigma and lead social campaigns that improve health seeking behaviour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]
